During the International Detergency Conference in Düsseldorf (Germany) SBS board member Andreas Schumacher and SBS expert for Personal Protective Equipment Andrea Rechtsteiner offered insights into the challenges SMEs face in standardisation work.

During his presentation, Schumacher emphasised the need to directly engage in the development and drafting of laws and standards,swiss replica watches and while addressing the textile care companies Schumacher asked for more cooperation between companies.

In a separate presentation, Rechtsteiner brought forward concrete standardisation projects that need the attention of the textile care industry. Additionally, with the occasion of the new regulation for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that came into force on 21 April 2018, Mr. Rechtsteiner circulated a new guideline document for the selection, use, care and maintenance of protective clothing.
